Pure Street Photography® is a globally renowned community passionately committed to the timeless art of street photography. Founded by world-renowned street photographers Dimpy Bhalotia and Kamal Kumaar Rao in 2020. PSP has grown into a thriving international network that inspires and connects photographers worldwide.

With over 216K Instagram followers and 300K+ across all social media platforms, Pure Street Photography has become a beacon of creativity and support for street photographers of all levels.

Sharing her inspiration behind PSP, Dimpy Bhalotia says: "When I first joined social media, I was eager to get featured as much as possible. It helped me understand which of my photographs resonated with the audience. Some images performed well, while others didn’t, allowing me to filter and identify my strongest work. The audience, in a way, became my best critic, unconsciously curating my portfolio and giving me the confidence to use those selected images for developing my portfolio for awards and exhibitions.

As I went through this journey, I wanted to help other photographers experience the same growth. That’s how Pure Street Photography (PSP) was born. Initially, we ran a hashtag and featured selected photographers, but with thousands of talented artists, most would only get featured once or twice a year. That wasn’t enough. To bridge this gap, I launched PSP Membership, offering curated features after a portfolio review, evolving into a thriving street photography community.

Each month, I curate and feature three standout images. This process helps members recognize their strongest work—photos they later use for websites, book covers, workshop banners, and even award submissions."

At its core, PSP is dedicated to providing a supportive platform that empowers and elevates photographers from diverse cultural backgrounds. Through the curation of captivating and thought-provoking imagery, it showcases remarkable talent to a global audience. PSP fosters a space where photographers receive genuine feedback, refine their skills, and build strong portfolios, ultimately gaining the confidence to present their work internationally.

More than just a platform, Pure Street Photography is a grand, immersive digital exhibition—a hub for learning, visibility, and artistic growth. By offering opportunities for recognition, collaboration, and exhibition, PSP cultivates a deeper appreciation for the ever-evolving world of street photography.

PSP has established itself as a symbol of credibility and notability in the street photography world. Every featured work undergoes a meticulous curation process, ensuring that photographers receive the recognition they deserve. Whether an amateur or a professional, every photographer has an equal opportunity to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Committed to empowering street photographers, PSP actively supports its members in getting featured, landing exhibitions, and publishing books. With its open-door philosophy, PSP continues to nurture a global movement that champions artistic expression, creativity, and the transformative power of street photography.
